Greetings and Welcome to my page.  I’m excited to share my journey to a career in real estate with you! 

In addition to having bought and sold three personal residential homes, my husband and I embarked upon the adventure of owning investment properties in 2019.  It all started with an opportunity to acquire his childhood home, remodel it and keep it in the family.  That experience sparked in me a passion for real estate that quickly grew into investment properties and land acquisitions. So how did I get here – let me share a little of my background.

In July of 2024, my fulfilling 21-year career with John Deere came to an end, allowing me to pivot from a side gig of property ownership and management into a full-time career as a Realtor and business owner here in the Quad Cities and in the Cedar Valley of Northeast Iowa.  My ties to the Cedar Valley stem back to being raised in Waterloo, IA where I attended East High School and then on to Hawkeye Community College where I both worked and attended school before transferring to and graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.

Once I graduated from UNI, it was my career at John Deere in Human Resources that ended up relocating me from Waterloo to the World Headquarters in Moline, IL in 2006.  That brought me to the Quad Cities, which has become my home away from home and where we are raising our son Jayden.  Which is another job in itself – managing band, baseball, football, basketball, etc.!

Now, as a Realtor with Ruhl&Ruhl, I am bringing my professional background, education, market knowledge, personal investment and homeownership experiences together to help you, my clients, navigate the investing, buying, or selling real estate process with confidence.  My goal is to provide you with the same high level of care, expertise, advocacy and positivity that I had when acquiring my own properties.
